Bicolline, one of the world’s leading permanent LARP villages, was affected by a fire at the end of April 2026.

The fire impacted part of the area known as the Vieille Ville, or Old Town, a section characterized by wooden scenic buildings used during events and by the community.

What is Bicolline

Bicolline is located in Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, Québec, and is a permanent site dedicated to live action role-playing. Unlike many LARP events held in temporary locations, the village features structures built over time and integrated into gameplay.

The site hosts events throughout the year, including campaigns, ducasses, scenarios, and large gatherings. The main annual event is the Grande Bataille, a week-long immersive experience attracting participants from multiple countries.
