Midnight Waltz

The Midnight Waltz is an otherworldly ball where fae creatures from all around the world gather to dance, socialize, and eventually pay the price of their magic. This larp aims for a magical atmosphere with a touch of drama, with the focus on individual relations and philosophical questions instead of combat or clash between factions.

During our larp, you can experience our version of fae culture, all the pleasantries a grand ball could provide, with the looming threat of annihilation to make things interesting. A lavish event for supernatural creatures of all kinds, in a setting that is inspired by many sources, be it folklore or pop culture. We intend to work together with our players to build a vivid, creative, and magical world we can all call our own.

The game itself was heavily inspired by The Goblin Ball, a larp we played in 2022 in Edinborough, organised by Jude Cattes, Sally TP and Virginia Wynn-Jones, with our own spins and interpretations added.
