Kruszca, dla którego ludzie tracą rozum, zdradzają przyjaciół i idą w ogień. W jednej chwili świeżo wywalczone przez Kurta hrabstwo stało się kotłem wrzącym od chciwości i krwi. Plotki o bogactwach rozeszły się jak dym, ściągając wojowników, handlarzy, złodziei i wszelkiej maści łowców fortuny. Każdy chce kawałek błyszczącego tortu, ale srebro jest twarde, a zdobywa się je tylko kosztem innych.Pogranicze i “gorączka srebra”: Po cenny kruszec rzuciły się trzy grupy:
Żelazna Hanza – pełna kolorytu legalna władza z pustym skarbcem i gorącym temperamentem.
Czarna Gildia – bezwzględna biurokratyczna organizacja z Grenzstadt, która przejmuje wszystko... bez pytania.
Renegaci – zbieranina najemników, banitów i awanturników, gotowych sprzedać miecz (i lojalność) temu, kto zapłaci więcej. Ich neutralny obóz to prawdziwa ostoja wolności dzikiego pogranicza. Na domiar złego, chodzą słuchy o schodzących z gór zwierzoludziach...Kopalnie są tylko dwie, srebro błyszczy, a prawo tu nic nie znaczy. Sojusze trwają do pierwszej beczki gorzały, a zdrada jest tak tania, jak nóż w plecy.Historia Pogranicza trwa. The metal for which people lose their minds, betray their friends and go into the fire. In an instant, Kurt's newly won county became a cauldron boiling with greed and blood. Rumors of riches spread like smoke, attracting warriors, traders, thieves and fortune hunters of all stripes. Everyone wants a piece of the shiny cake, but silver is hard, and it is obtained only at the expense of others. Borderland and "silver rush": Three groups rushed for the precious metal:
Iron Hansa - a colorful legal power with an empty treasury and a hot temper.
Black Guild - a ruthless bureaucratic organization from Grenzstadt that takes over everything... without asking.
Renegades - a motley crew of mercenaries, outlaws, and adventurers ready to sell their sword (and loyalty) to the highest bidder. Their neutral camp is a true haven of freedom on the wild frontier. To make matters worse, there are rumors of beastmen coming down from the mountains... There are only two mines, the silver is shiny, and the law means nothing here. Alliances last until the first barrel of booze, and betrayal is as cheap as a knife in the back. The history of the Borderland continues.
