The medieval tournament Giostra di Giovanni will take place on May 11-12 in the Italian city of Livorno! The Giostra reimagines the traditional format of buhurt tournaments and historical festivals, offering a fresh and exciting experience.

The Giostra di Giovanni will host mass battles among all participants, alongside the distinctive Battle of Lances. Here, Italian and visiting teams will split into two Parties – Defendants and Instigators – competing under innovative rules. The event will feature knight duels and team battles of 5v5, with the contest continuing until one Party loses all its Lances.
Will the Italian defenders safeguard Tuscan land, or will the visiting knights emerge victorious, proving their honor?

This tournament is one of the highlights of the annual Tuscany Medieval Festival, organized by the White Company. Magna Carta acts as the event's information partner, where you can find exclusive and up-to-date news about the tournament.
We also invite everyone to join the Tuscany Medieval Festival and Giostra di Giovanni event group on Facebook for more information.

We welcome all medieval enthusiasts to Fortezza Nuova in Livorno on May 11-12. For those who cannot make it in person, we promise to share the festival's beauty on the Magna Carta page. Prepare for an unparalleled medieval adventure!
