EPIC EMPIRES ist ein action- und wettkampforientierter Schlachtencon mit hohem Anspruch an die Darstellung und Gewandung der Charaktere sowie der geschlossenen Themenlager und Stadtviertel Neu-Ostringens. 2025 findet EPIC EMPIRES vom 20.-24. August statt – wie immer auf dem Utopion-Gelände in Bexbach.

EPIC EMPIRES, das ist LARP für Erwachsene, d.h. strikt FSK 18. Die Spieler sind für ihr Handeln und die daraus resultierenden Konsequenzen IT und OT selbst verantwortlich.

Der Grundgedanke von EPIC EMPIRES ist, den Spielern innerhalb unserer Spielidee und des Veranstaltungskonzeptes freien Handlungsspielraum zu geben. Wir sind ein 24h-IT-Con. Durch strikte Standards bietet EPIC EMPIRES bestmögliche Immersion, die durch das DKWDDK-Regelsystem mit Hollywood-Prinzip, Opfer-Regel und Telling-Verbot auch im Spiel konsequent umgesetzt wird. „Anything goes“ gibt es bei EPIC EMPIRES nicht. Alle Themenlager und Viertel der Freistadt Neu-Ostringen haben eigene Gewandungsleitfäden, um zu einer glaubhaften und konsistenten Spielwelt beizutragen.

Die Altersbeschränkung ermöglicht auch ein deutlich härteres Kampfsystem, das zum einen einfach gehalten und zum anderen mit dem „Auf´s Maul Codex“ (AMC) den Härtegrad jeder einzelnen Szene steigern, aber auch kontrollieren lässt.

EPIC EMPIRES ist kein Gewandungsgrillen oder LARP-Festival. Die qualitativen Anforderungen an Spiel und Ambiente werden orgaseitig durch das Orgalagerfeedback [OLF] sichergestellt und spielerseitig durch die jährliche Vergabe der B-Note für Spiel und Lagerbauten.

EPIC EMPIRES ist das Produkt einer großen Community aus Spielern, Lagerorgas und dem Team. Wie keine zweite Con bindet EPIC EMPIRES die Orgas der Themenlager und Stadtviertel in die Organisation im Rahmen der Tafelrunde ein, auf der das Konzept der Veranstaltung gemeinsam weiterentwickelt wird. EPIC EMPIRES unterstützt Spielerprojekte durch Spiel- und Baustipendien, den Anschub eines eigenen Bauvereins und einen Rückfluss („Kickback“) von 10 Euro pro verkauftem Spielerticket an die Lagerorgas.
