Amióta világ a világ, az emberiség mindig is félelemmel tekintett a mágiára - erre a kaotikus, meghatározhatatlan őserőre, amelyre látszólag nem vonatkoztak a természet és a tudomány törvényei, s amelyet sokáig egyetlen halandó sem tudott akarata alá hajtani. Egészen a Máguskirály eljöveteléig.Alakjáról mesék, legendák szólnak, hiszen a gyűlölt zsarnok egykor állítólag az emberiség és a haladás bajnoka volt. Mindez azonban már az idők homályába vész - a jelenkor embere számára a Máguskirály nem más, mint a kegyetlen elnyomás megtestesítője, akit ötven évvel ezelőtt az egymással korábban hadban álló országok együttes erőfeszítései és tulajdon tanítványai árulása győzött le. But with his last desperate act, the ruler changed the fate of the World once and for all: within the framework of a single, final ceremony, he dispersed his power in all directions of the wind rose, and thus a new age began: the Age of Splitting. In the wake of the King's act, magic went from a turbulent, dreaded chaotic force to an indelible part of everyday life, and the people's magic users have been fighting strange magical phenomena, monsters and sorcerers for half a century - since since the ceremony, hundreds of people with magical powers have been born all over the countries. However, after a while, almost without exception, they were all taken by madness - the king's cursed legacy. However, after many years of research and experiments, it seems that they have finally found a solution to the problem: the most powerful and experienced wizards of the age, who have overseen the purification of the world for the past 50 years, now, with the consent of the empires, invite students to the Academy, the former fortress of the Magician King, to give them a chance and teach them how to live with the Magician King With his legacy.--------
The Arcán Academy - The Legacy of the Sorcerer King is a three-day, arcane fantasy LARP for 60 people, organized by 1000 Lives Studios, inspired by classic wizarding schools.
During the game, players can take on the role of the Academy's new students and discover the opportunities and dangers of the magical power hidden within them at the dawn of a new, uncertain age.
