Al eeuwenlang wordt eind september het Oogstfeest of de Equinox gevierd doorheen heel Europa. Voor sommigen is dit niet meer dan een reden om samen te komen en te feesten na het harde werk van de zomer en de oogst. Voor anderen is het een symbolisch -bijna magisch- moment waaraan veel betekenis wordt gegeven en waarmee vele gewoontes en rituelen gepaard gaan. Het zijn de laatste goede momenten voor donkere tijden, of het is net dat unieke moment van perfect evenwicht tussen licht en donker. Het is het moment waarop werelden dicht bij elkaar liggen of waarop er keuzes gemaakt moeten worden die elk een even grote kans tot realisatie hebben. België en Raetsburg maken zich op voor de verkiezingen, dus keuzes moeten wel degelijk gemaakt worden. Een dreiging uit het Oosten doemt op uit het duister net nu het donkerder wordt.
