Miskatonic Madness: Halloween

„Uniwersytet Miskatonic nie należy do lekkich. Na studiujące tam osoby czeka wiele wyzwań. Jedynie ułamek każdego rocznika kończy uczelnię. Do najbardziej przerażających należą zajęcia prowadzone przez profesora Thomsona — miłośnika, badacza i specjalisty z dziedziny literatury grozy. Na koniec każdego semestru rzesze osób muszą zmierzyć się z egzaminem poprawkowym. O takich, które by go zdały… nigdy nie słyszano.

Nie inaczej jest w tym roku. Od ponad tygodnia próżno szukać życia na kampusie uniwersyteckim. Pojedyncze osoby prześlizgują się w grobowych nastrojach między domami studenckimi i biblioteką. Ciągle pada deszcz. Atmosfera jest podła. Nikomu nie uśmiecha się oblanie egzaminu i wydalenie z uczelni. Termin poprawki zbliża się z każdym dniem. Wyczuwalny poziom stresu rośnie z każdą minutą. To sytuacja, w której może wydarzyć się tylko jedno…Może zrobią to w nieużywanej świetlicy.

Może ktoś zwinie z portierni klucze do auli. Może wybiorą opuszczony dom studencki na uboczu kampusu. Ktoś pewnie przyniesie butelkę alkoholu. Ktoś inny zorganizuje muzykę. Czas na spontaniczną imprezę, która nie skończy się dobrze… Niech rozegra się szaleństwo w Miskatonic”

Zapraszamy na larpa „Miskatonic Madness”, którego celem jest stworzenie warunków do wspólnego przeżycia historii w klimacie grozy i szaleństwa przez grupę kilkudziesięciu osób. Osoby biorące udział w larpie wcielą się w postaci studentek/ów Uniwersytetu Miskatonic i wezmą udział w spontanicznej imprezie w trakcie stresującego okresu egzaminów poprawkowych w niesprecyzowanych latach 80. To spotkanie nie skończy się dobrze...

Chcemy, żeby edycja „Miskatonic Madness: Halloween” była larpową alternatywą dla typowych halloweenowych imprez. Zachęcamy, żeby kostiumy przygotowane na larpa zawierały halloweenowe akcenty oraz proponujemy, żeby w świecie gry spontaniczna impreza również odbywała się w terminie Halloween. Poza tymi dwiema niewielkimi zmianami „Miskatonic Madness” pozostanie sprawdzonym i wielokrotnie przetestowanym w boju w larpem, który w 2022 roku został nagrodzony tytułem Diamentu Festiwalu podczas pierwszej edycji konkursu larpowego Carbon.

"Miskatonic University is not an easy one. There are many challenges waiting for people studying there. Only a fraction of each class graduates from the university. The most terrifying are the classes conducted by Professor Thomson - a lover, researcher and specialist in the field of horror literature. At the end of each semester, crowds of people have to take a re-sit exam. Those who would pass it... have never been heard of.

This year is no different. For over a week, there has been no life on the university campus. Individuals slip in a grave mood between the student dormitories and the library. It's still raining. The atmosphere is vile. No one is happy about failing an exam and being expelled from the university. The deadline for the amendment is getting closer every day. The noticeable stress level increases by the minute. This is a situation where only one thing can happen... Maybe they will do it in an unused community center.

Maybe someone will steal the keys to the hall from the porter's office. Maybe they'll choose an abandoned student house on the outskirts of campus. Someone will probably bring a bottle of alcohol. Someone else will arrange the music. It's time for a spontaneous party that won't end well... Let the madness unfold in Miskatonic"

We invite you to the "Miskatonic Madness" larp, ​​the aim of which is to create conditions for a group of several dozen people to experience history together in an atmosphere of horror and madness. People taking part in the larp will take on the role of students of Miskatonic University and take part in a spontaneous party during the stressful period of final exams in the unspecified 1980s. This meeting will not end well...

We want the "Miskatonic Madness: Halloween" edition to be a LARP alternative to typical Halloween parties. We encourage the costumes prepared for the LARP to include Halloween accents and we suggest that a spontaneous party in the game world also take place on Halloween. Apart from these two minor changes, "Miskatonic Madness" will remain a proven and battle-tested larp, ​​which in 2022 was awarded the Festival Diamond title during the first edition of the Carbon larp competition.
