Discover The Witcher: Aretuza, is a 4-day LARP set in Spain, inspired by the magical school from the world of Geralt of Rivia. Step into the shoes of a future powerful mage and study at the most prestigious sorcery academy in the Continent.

This high-immersion live-action role-play takes place in a breathtaking historical castle, where you will:

Aretuza: a saga of events set in the Witcher world

Aretuza will be a saga of events in the universe of Geralt of Rivia, set in the magical society of The Witcher. Specifically, in the sorcery school that has that same name. Participants will take the role of apprentices in the art of chaos in Aretuza and Ban Ard, and will be able to play the same character for several episodes, as long as it makes sense.

Aretuza: Episode 0 - The prologue

Aretuza: Episode 0 takes place about the year 1052, shortly after the creation of the Chapter of Magic. Although 'scientific' research of Chaos is quite advanced, there are still things to discover, specially about the heritage of the Ancient Races. The first Witchers have been created, but the project has been canceled by the Chapter and they are considered renegades. The magical civil war where Raffard the White died has already happened, and foundations have been established to start building a powerful sorcery guild that can establish relationships with the power spheres of the Continent.

Redania has ceded a building to create an elite sorcery school to the Chapter. The castle was inhabited for a long time by a monstrous creature, said to kidnap and devour young girls. Thanks to the intervention of arcane capable people, the creature was eliminated and the area cleansed. However, no proper citizen wants to live in a cursed place, or so does the gossip run. Thus, the king ceded the lands to the Chapter as thanks for their task and, in return, of course, some favors for the realm in the future.

Apprentices arrive from all over the Continent to what will become their new home...
