NEOTROPOLIS

This is a festival put on by Wasteland World LLC., the same people behind Wasteland Weekend (www.wastelandweekend.com). 

Neotropolis is a far flung desert outpost- home to various Factions, traders, intergalactic corporations, and aliens. The multi-day festival includes live bands, multi-day story arcs, NeoQuest missions, laser tag, retro video gaming, DJs, fully-immersive interactive environments, camping, bartering (and selling!) of themed goods, food vendors, robots, FREE alcohol (thanks to the BYOB event policy and community bar servers), costume contests, and tricked-out vehicles. This cyberpunk world encompassed many acres of beautiful privately-owned land in the California Mojave Desert, including indoor and outdoor spaces, and enough neon to light up the desert for miles.

While EVERYONE needs to be in a themed costume, the event can be experienced on multiple levels. You don’t have to join a NeoCorp, you don’t have to run missions. Attendees can just have fun exploring the city, dancing and listening to music, or they can dive in deeper and create a character that becomes part of the greater story.

A ticket to Neotropolis covers admittance to all days. No extra fees for parking or camping- it’s included!
Outside food and drink IS allowed!
Ins and outs are allowed!

This is a festival put on by Wasteland World Inc., the same people behind Wasteland Weekend and the Wastelanders Ball. We have 16 years of experience in the world of immersive festivals.

Neotropolis is a far flung desert outpost- home to various Factions, traders, intergalactic corporations, and aliens. Once open, event runs 24/7, and will feature some immersive interactive story elements as well as traditional festival elements like a full music stage with live bands, DJs, and camping, as well as some not-so-traditional ones like robot battles and laser tag combat.

While EVERYONE needs to be in a themed costume, Neotropolis can be experienced on multiple levels. You can just have fun exploring the city, dancing and listening to music, or you can dive in deeper by create a character and becoming part of the NeoQuest missions story!

It takes place on a large piece of private land in Edwards, CA in the Mojave Desert: Wasteland Valley, The same property that hosts Wasteland Weekend and other large events and film shoots. It’s only a 20 minute drive from stores and services in nearby California City, CA and yet offers a 360 degree view of nothing but desert and hills, with no modern civilization in sight to break your immersion.
