Welcome to the Liminal Domain!

So, you’ve died. Unexpected, perhaps, or possibly right on schedule. And rather than finding yourself before any gatekeeper or in a pit of poetic justice, you've arrived somewhere... stranger. A peculiar sort of nowhere called the Liminal Domain, where Essences of passed Witchards and other magical beings, gather, caught in an in-between place where unfinished business, old regrets, and unexpected revelations await.

Brought to you by the good folk of Witchards Society and Dragon Trove, this is no ordinary LARP!
You, dear player, are hereby invited to roam this delightful cosmic waystation.

• Be an Essence trying to sort out your unfinished business. (beginners friendly)
• Be a Guide who’s not quite ready to move on but is more than happy to meddle in the lives (afterlives?) of others.
• Be a Passer with the unenviable task of deciding where these Essences will go next, all while avoiding an existential crises of your own.

Join us for a time of whimsy, wonder, and a pinch of existential dread. There’ll be strange assemblies, curious trials, and a bar (because what’s an afterlife without a drink or two?). Death is just the beginning. And how you choose to navigate what comes after? Well, that’s entirely up to you.

The tone of Liminal Domain dances somewhere between whimsical (with fun activities and delightful discoveries) and profound (where emotions stir and truths emerge).  Each run of Liminal Domain is a singular tale, a stand-alone adventure, as unique as the Dragons who watch over it. No two visits are ever the same, though some constants remain: surprises, revelations, and a fair bit of chaos are practically guaranteed.

When a Witchard’s time comes to an end, their Essence is whisked away to the Liminal Domain, where they are sorted back to the flow of the universe and continue their journey in a new existence.
The Liminal Domain is in the in-between, floating outside the boundaries of time and space, where the Essences of Witchards gather after their earthly journey concludes. It’s a place of wonder, where they can have new experiences and are guided through the maze of their past, resolving regrets, and facing trials that shape their future. Here, every Witchard’s Essence is sorted into its next existence, whether it be a different creature, realm, or in an entirely new plane.
The Liminal Domain is about the touch of new experiences, the taste of joy, the chance for redemption, and the face of consequences. It’s a realm where death was just another beginning, and every ending opens the door to magical possibilities.
